The development of journalism online has seen a reshaping of how content is delivered. Some feared that long, indepth articles would be killed off, but Mark Armstrong, founder of Twitter’s @longreads, believes that tablet computers, such as the iPad, have changed the playing field.
Talking at a panel on the future of journalism, it has been reported by Community Impact Newspaper that Armstrong said:
“The content that was created over 15 years ago on the Web was created specifically for workplace engagement—five minutes or less while at work or on a quick break.”
